Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Buyer to manage day-to-day tactical purchasing for construction and facilities projects, owning requisitions through final payment, and serving as the primary contact for supplier performance.

You will lead negotiations for pricing and terms, develop LTAs and IDIQs, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, and collaborate with a small team to deliver materials on time, within budget, and to meet technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or related field with extensive procurement experience.
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, and SOX compliance.
• Strong data-driven analytics with program metrics experience.
• Ability to develop negotiation plans and lead negotiations across pricing, terms, and schedule.
• Experience procuring avionics, machined parts, raw materials, or major subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute program requirements for Blue Origin supply chain.
• Prepare RFx, price reasonableness determinations, and price analyses.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and schedule with suppliers.
• Manage strategic agreements (LTAs/IDIQ) and supplier relationships.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and meet technical performance requirements.
