Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Buyer Sr. to manage strategic procurement for spaceflight programs. You will oversee requirements prioritization, contract types, and cost analyses, ensuring on-time delivery within budget across multiple facilities.

You will leverage compliance standards, negotiations, and data-driven metrics to drive efficiencies, support long-range procurement partnerships, and contribute to safe, reliable spaceflight initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.
• Interprets and applies company policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations (FAR, DFAR, SOX).
• Strong analytics, data-driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities to meet program requirements and ensure timely production materials delivery.
• Manage and negotiate contracts, including LTAs, and oversee Requests for Proposal/Quotes.
• Responsible for requisition creation through final payment of invoices and issue resolution.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
