Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Procurement Senior Specialist in California to negotiate favorable terms, manage supplier relationships, and process requisitions and purchase orders for goods and services.

This hybrid, full-time role requires an Associate's degree with 5–7 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to develop sourcing strategies and lead supplier negotiations. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sourcing strategy and negotiates contracts.
• Gathers business requirements and pre-qualifies potential suppliers.
• Develops and distributes RFPs/RFQs and collects bids or other information.
• Ensures procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
