Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a procurement professional to develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, issue and evaluate RFPs/RFQs, and negotiate contracts for multiple categories. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes.

The position emphasizes cross-functional coordination, adherence to policies, and ability to lead supplier relations while ensuring timely procurement and risk

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies and evaluate suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes sourcing strategy; evaluates offerings and negotiates contracts.
• Gathers business requirements and pre-qualifies potential suppliers.
• Develops RFPs/RFQs and collects bids or information.
• Evaluates proposals based on quality, cost, and alignment with requirements.
• Collaborates with suppliers to finalize contractual agreements.
• May oversee purchasing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
