Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred not required.
• 5 years of directly-related procurement experience. Accredited technical or college courses in purchasing, contracting or Shop practice will be considered.
• Ability to use understanding/knowledge of drawing interpretation to identify (current and new) sources to manufacture/fabricate hardware per the drawing.

Responsibilities

• Reviews requisitions and issues purchase orders to the optimum advantage of the company based on value, quality, delivery, and price.
• Supports helping set up Long Term Agreements with Suppliers.
• Supports overall Vendor relationships.
• Assists in the selection of qualified suppliers through facility inspection and personal inquiry and adjudicates difference between CEC and vendors.
• Obtains quotations as required and selects vendors.
• Performs liaison between requisitioning departments and suppliers.
