Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Procurement/Sourcing professional in Plano, TX to identify and develop new suppliers, request quotations, negotiate prices, and coordinate sample submissions. The role supports supplier qualification and onboarding, working with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve cost competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years in sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing environment, strong negotiation skills, and ERP/MRP experience

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2–5+ years of sourcing, purchasing, or procurement in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new suppliers.
• Requesting and comparing quotations.
• Price negotiation and cost reduction initiatives.
• Coordinating sample submission and approval processes.
• Supporting supplier qualification and onboarding.
• Collaborating with Buyer, Engineering, Quality, and Planning for supplier evaluation.
• Assisting with sourcing strategies to improve supply stability and cost competitiveness.
• Conducting annual supplier evaluations / scorecards for key vendors.
