Qualifications

• Construction or indirect procurement experience preferred.

About the Role:

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist in Marysville, OH. In this strategic sourcing role, you will manage commercial category spend, lead competitive bidding events (RFIs/RFPs), and negotiate multi-million dollar supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end strategic sourcing events, RFPs, and contract negotiations for indirect procurement spend.
• Conduct supply market research and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses to drive cost savings.
• Negotiate commercial terms, master services agreements, and liability risk protections with suppliers.
• Monitor vendor KPIs, enforce delivery compliance, and lead supplier relationship management (SRM).
• Collaborate with enterprise business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with corporate targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of strategic sourcing, purchasing, or commercial contracting experience.
• Familiarity with enterprise procurement software (SAP, Ariba, or major ERP platforms).
• Proven contract negotiation, financial analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Construction or indirect procurement experience preferred.
