The role collaborates with design engineers to optimize specifications for lowest cost, develops cost estimation tools, and drives sourcing strategies to meet SQCDM targets. Travel to supplier facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or cost management experience in powersports or automotive.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints, analyze cost breakdowns, and negotiate contracts.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and commercial dispute resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel 1-3 times monthly to supplier manufacturing facilities.

You will lead competitive bidding, supplier selection, and commercial contract negotiations for outsourced components on global ATV and side-by-side (SxS) programs, managing >$25M in annual spend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead competitive bidding processes and commercial negotiations with tier-1 powersports parts suppliers.
• Formulate and execute commodity sourcing strategies to achieve annual SQCDM business plan targets.
• Propose supplier maker layout selections based on quality capability, capacity, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with design engineers during blueprint maturation to optimize specifications for lowest cost.
• Build cost estimation tables and tools that improve piece price and tooling quotation accuracy.
