About the Role:

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Strategic Planning Senior Specialist within the Powersports & Products Procurement Planning Unit in Raymond, OH. You will coordinate long-term model cost budgeting, evaluate purchasing strategies, and report cost roadmaps to executive procurement leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development of overall purchasing strategies across part sourcing and supplier management.
• Consolidate and roll up long-term budgets for new model programs and mass production unit cost targets.
• Participate in insource versus outsource (I/H vs. O/S) manufacturing feasibility assessments.
• Administer access and training for associates and suppliers on enterprise purchasing databases (QMF/SQL).
• Generate executive presentations and data models reporting cost strategies to top management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain (or 6+ years equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement planning, or cost engineering experience.
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL/QMF), advanced Excel modeling, and PowerPoint.
• Strong project management, data analysis, and technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically (approx. 6 times per year) to manufacturing plants.
