Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager to oversee procurement of parts, supplies, and equipment for production while maintaining stock levels and supporting cash flow. The role requires extensive ERP experience and strong supplier negotiation skills.

You will analyze inventory, coordinate with production, estimators, and engineering to optimize cost and availability, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Panelmatic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Ten-plus years of experience in materials management required.
• Ten-plus years of manufacturing experience required.
• Ten-plus years of experience using an ERP system to plan and procure material.

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and materials for production and maintain stock inventory.
• Maintain purchase orders and related reports; expedite as needed to support schedule.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments for smooth operations.
• Negotiate delivery and pricing with suppliers; locate and compare options.
• Escalate and resolve issues with shipments and supplier performance.
