Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Buyer III to support procurement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The role covers indirect materials, COTS products, and ET/IT hardware with emphasis on compliance and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills, and the ability to manage multiple procurement initiatives while aligning with aerospace industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience purchasing indirect materials and services, including COTS and ET/IT hardware.
• Experience using ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Execute full procurement lifecycle for indirect materials and services.
• Process requisitions and convert to purchase orders in ERP.
• Source and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and evaluate bids for best value.
• Support strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and quality teams to ensure compliance.
