Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Level 3 Buyer (Contractor) to manage the end-to-end procurement of indirect materials and services, with a specialized focus on standard COTS products, ET/IT hardware, and aerospace-related goods.

The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation, supplier management, and compliance skills to a fast-paced aerospace environment, coordinating with IT, engineering, and quality teams to ensure timely and compliant sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience in indirect buying.
• Experience procuring COTS products and IT hardware.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute full procurement lifecycle for indirect categories including COTS products, ET/IT hardware, and aerospace materials/services.
• Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service criteria.
• Issue RFQs and RFPs and conduct competitive bid analyses.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and value.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation.
