Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to provide leadership across procurement operations, source-to-pay processes, and supplier management. The role partners with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, Accounts Payable, technology teams, and business units to drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Eight years of procurement experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Oracle or Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Procurement to translate business priorities into sourcing, operational, and financial plans.
• Provide leadership for Procurement operations and oversight of Source-to-Pay processes and policies.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations and benchmarking.
• Define requirements, evaluate suppliers and proposals, and deliver sourcing recommendations.
• Lead complex negotiations for strategic supplier agreements to optimize pricing, terms, and risk.
• Oversee technology procurement including software, cloud services, cybersecurity, and AI agreements.
• Drive procurement transformation through process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Develop procurement KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Manage sourcing, renewal, and savings pipelines and related analytics.
• Ensure policy compliance and educate stakeholders on procurement controls.
• Lead and develop the procurement team with clear priorities and continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor master data approvals, procurement system licenses, and user access.
