Placements24 is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations in Welkom. The role requires strategic leadership, hands-on management of the purchasing function, and oversight of supplier relationships to drive value and reliability across the supply chain.

You will lead a team, develop purchasing strategies, and ensure contracts and supplier performance meet budget and quality targets in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in purchasing or procurement management.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing a procurement team.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and market dynamics.
