Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Procurement Sr. Manager in Austin to lead a sizable team, source and negotiate with service providers, and drive complex sourcing strategies for multiple clients.

The role focuses on optimizing procurement processes, policy adherence, and cross-functional collaboration across regions. You will supervise staff, develop strategic plans, and ensure contract compliance, while mentoring teams and coordinating with executive sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5–8 years of related experience.
• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or NACM certifications or eligibility are preferred.
• Experience leading staffing, training, coaching, mentoring and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules and deadlines; mentor staff.
• Draft, review, and maintain contracts for large value goods/services.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and execute procurement strategy at multiple levels.
• Manage supplier certification, vendor performance reviews, and cost control.
• Lead policy development and ensure contracts align with company standards.
