Job summary

CFS in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to own procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives within a growing manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with leadership, oversee purchasing and inventory planning, and help implement AI-driven improvements while enjoying stable, family-owned growth and cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Vendor and supplier management experience.
• Experience negotiating pricing and purchasing agreements.
• Experience working within ERP systems.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
• Coordinate with suppliers on deliveries, shipments, pricing, and order status updates.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations to prevent stock shortages.
• Negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements with vendors.
• Support sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, and RFP processes.
• Analyze landed costs and compare supplier options to support purchasing decisions.
