CFS in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations, vendor relationships, inventory planning, and sourcing initiatives. This role offers visibility with leadership and an opportunity to contribute to process improvements within a stable, employee‑focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing, experience with ERP systems, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, buying, or supply chain operations.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders in an ERP environment.
• Strong vendor management and supplier relationship experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements.

Responsabilidades

• Create, process, and manage purchase orders through the company's ERP system.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers while ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements to maximize value and cost savings.
• Assist with sourcing projects, supplier evaluations, and request-for-proposal (RFP) activities.
• Analyze supplier performance, lead times, and landed costs to support purchasing decisions.
• Resolve purchasing, shipment, and delivery issues as they arise.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
