Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of procurement experience, with four years in an industrial construction or engineering environment.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborates with Estimating and Projects to build requisitions, solicit quotes, review proposals, and execute orders.
• Take RFQ/RFP packages through all procurement stages to the execution of PO.
• Expedites vendor quotes and negotiates terms and conditions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.
• Maintains quotes, purchase orders, and procurement logs; reviews expediting reports with Expeditors.
• Mentors Procurement Specialists and supports team duties as needed.
• Attends and participates in meetings as assigned.
