Qualifications

• Familiarity with department standards and heavy industrial procurement.
• Experience with procurement on chemical, refining, pulp and paper, power and manufacturing projects.
• Ability to interpret contracts, terms, and payment conditions.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers/contractors.
• Proficiency in SAP, Ariba or other ERP systems and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Developing procurement plans for goods and services across projects.
• Interpreting scopes, statements of work and project schedules.
• Mentoring procurement teammates and guiding team on budgets.
• Leading a procurement team on diverse projects and reporting to clients.
• Assisting in developing project manhour estimates.
