M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Senior Purchasing Agent to support growing programs, liaising between Procurement and Executive teams, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure timely, value-driven procurement across projects.

This role emphasizes strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and market analysis. Key responsibilities include bid-phase planning, post-award execution, and regional travel to project sites and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Purchasing experience sourcing, negotiating contracts with OEMs and specialty subcontractors.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.

Responsabilités

• Procurement planning during the bidding phase and developing procurement plans.
• Post award procurement planning and implementation on major projects.
• Assessing market conditions and incorporating them into procurement strategies.
• Reading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents and schedules.
• Traveling to project sites, manufacturers, and vendors as needed.
