Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead a team of buyers, drive sourcing strategy, and partner with Product Sourcing Engineers to ensure timely delivery of parts for advanced defense systems.

You will own end-to-end procurement, negotiate with suppliers, manage supplier data in ERP, and help achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals in a fast-paced, high-regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in progressive roles.
• Experience with technical procurement.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with leading ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of buyers, prioritizing workloads.
• Partner with Product Sourcing Engineers on supplier selection, cost targets, and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Coordinate with Product Sourcing Engineers during NPI phases to ensure procurement timelines and BOM readiness.
• Lead cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Monitor KPIs and surface risks to the buying team and sourcing engineers early.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and manage supplier data in ERP.
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives with sourcing engineers and the buying team.
• Own the procurement cradle-to-grave from sourcing through delivery and payment.
