Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer to lead sourcing strategies for aerospace, defense, and electronics manufacturing. You will manage supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and performance, while ensuring material availability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a proactive, analytical mindset with focus on reliability, cost optimization, and risk mitigation within a highly regulated environment. Onsite role supporting site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field.
• 5+ years procurement or supply chain experience in aerospace/electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Preferred familiarity with ITAR/DFARS and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies that support aerospace, defense, and electronics manufacturing.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and performance management.
• Place and manage purchase orders, confirm deliveries, expedite materials and maintain supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Product Management and Planning teams to support production readiness.
• Drive inventory optimization through ERP/MRP best practices, Kanban and lean replenishment.
• Analyze supplier risk and proactively address supply continuity challenges.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions for quality and delivery.
