Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to supervise the purchasing process for government and commercial contracts, overseeing supplier relationships, bid analysis, and contract administration to ensure on-time deliveries.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in supply chain management, FAR/UCC knowledge, and stakeholder coordination across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline with nine+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of contract construction, FAR, FAR supplements, and the UCC.
• Coordinate inter-organizational activities and propose creative solutions to complex issues.
• Document, investigate, advise, interpret and explain complex issues to internal staff and external customers/suppliers.
• Experience negotiating complex purchases and subcontracts and understanding materials requirements planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of materials, parts, services under government or commercial contracts.
• Review work statements, prepare solicitations, conduct bidder conferences.
• Analyze proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and perform price analyses.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs and other stakeholders.
• Lead supplier audits and manage supplier deliveries and quality.
• Support production schedules by planning and monitoring buys.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
