Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Procurement (Buyer) to join the Supply Chain team in Canoga Park, CA. The role focuses on procuring raw materials, goods and services, negotiating prices, and managing supplier awards from quote to order, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The position requires strong negotiation skills, knowledge of FAR, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. It offers a 9/80 schedule and competitive California salary with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years procurement experience or Graduate Degree with 0–1 years’ experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Procure critical path components and services for multiple manufacturing needs and serve as liaison to internal customers.
• Create and issue contracts (FFP, T&M); lead supplier selection, cost/price analysis and negotiations.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met; follow up with suppliers on delivery dates.
• Review terms/conditions in agreements; understand component specs and requirements.
• Maintain documentation per FAR regulations and company procedures; audit PO files.
