Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr Assoc, Procurement in Anaheim, CA area with multiple location options. The role focuses on maintaining supplier relationships, PO control, and program alignment to meet revenue commitments.

Strong contracting knowledge and MS Office skills are essential. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with experience in procurement, or significant experience in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and 0-2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Contract experience, including knowledge of terms and conditions, and other agreement related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Understanding and working knowledge of engineering documentation, product configurations, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a digital/remote environment.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of incoming purchase orders to ensure PO delivery date fidelity.
• Manage assigned commodities to enable L3 Harris production, including PO changes.
• Create PO packages with required documentation for changes.
• Manage supplier relationships and implement supplier base strategies.
• Resolve supplier base problems including negotiations on non-conformances and invoicing.
• Provide guidance to Procurement Agents in non-supervisory role.
• Advise leadership on key events in selected commodities affecting business plans.
• Maintain FAR-compliant documentation and company procedures.
• Implement strategic goals and manage assigned projects.
