Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Procurement to support the Purchasing organization by sustaining strategic supplier partnerships and driving value. You will issue requests for information, proposals, and quotes to suppliers, analyze responses, justify procurements, and place purchase orders.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field, or recently completed within 12 months.
Knowledge of supply chain concepts, spend management, and negotiations.
Familiarity with different contract types and financial analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

Procure material, equipment, supplies, services, and commodity products.
Evaluate cost and analyze supplier bids to attain best overall value.
Negotiate price, delivery and quality and determine supplier selections.
Track Purchase Orders and interface with receiving and accounting to resolve issues.
Engage with suppliers to manage relationships and ensure alignment with schedules.
Interpret FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws and ensure compliance with certifications and licenses.
