Job summary

Trilyon, Inc. is seeking a Validation Engineer 4 for an onsite role in San Jose, CA. The contract is for 12 months with a pay rate of $60–$85/hour on W2.

You will develop and execute platform-level electrical and functional validation plans for processor silicon and interface features, perform electrical characterization, and debug I/O issues. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical/computer engineering with extensive hands-on validation experience, including

Qualifications

• Develop comprehensive electrical and functional validation test plans.
• Execute platform-level validation for processor silicon and interface features.
• Perform electrical characterization and functional testing.
• Hands-on oscilloscope and logic analyzer usage.
• Read schematics and layout documentation.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive electrical and functional validation test plans.
• Execute platform-level validation for new processor silicon and interface features.
• Perform electrical characterization and functional testing.
• Debug processor and PC platform I/O interface issues.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and hardware/software validation tools.
• Review schematics, layouts and platform designs.
• Provide technical input into platform definition and silicon-validation strategies.
• Work closely with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers and technicians.
