Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Silicon System Validation Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA for a 6+ month contract. You will develop SoC validation plans, build FW tooling, and characterize power and performance on pre- and post-silicon platforms.

Responsibilities include executing test plans, debugging with JTAG, and adapting validation roadmaps in an agile environment. A BS in EE or CS and 3+ years of embedded experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded systems or firmware development experience.
• Proficient in C with exposure to bare‑metal code.
• Python scripting experience preferred.
• Experience with debugging tools and JTAG.
• Familiar with pre‑silicon validation platforms (FPGA/emulation).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop SoC and end‑to‑end validation plans and execute them.
• Create FW tooling for debugging and validation.
• Power and performance characterization on pre‑silicon and post‑silicon boards.
• Work in an agile environment and adapt validation plans as needed.
• Test firmware functionality, performance, and reliability.
