Job summary

ASM in Phoenix seeks a Senior Process Technician to own day-to-day operation of engineering and laboratory tools across multiple platforms. You will execute metrology and process jobs, train junior technicians, and partner with engineers on root-cause analysis while maintaining safety and quality.

In this fast-paced role, you will manage multiple priorities, document activities, and drive improvements to lab throughput and data quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating semiconductor process equipment.
• Experience following detailed procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to handle wafers, FOUPs, and lab materials safely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience training or guiding other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Execute metrology measurements and data collection to support operations.
• Prepare FOUPs, wafer handling, and material movement per procedures.
• Run process and metrology jobs across multiple tool platforms.
• Monitor tool health weekly and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist engineers with experiment setup and data gathering.
• Coordinate post-maintenance qualifications and tool releases.
• Prioritize and track multiple engineer work requests.
• Document completed work, tool status, and lab activities.
• Author and maintain procedures and checklists.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Lead first-line troubleshooting and tool recovery.
• Collaborate on root-cause analysis with engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement to lab throughput and data quality.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on tool operation.
