Mechnano seeks a Senior Technician for a full-time, on-site role in the Greater Phoenix Area. You will perform hands-on material processing, operate pilot-scale equipment, and maintain accurate batch records in a lab/production environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of hands-on operation experience in chemical/materials settings, strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to communicate process deviations.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in hands-on manufacturing or pilot plant operations.
• Experience in chemical, materials, polymer, or pilot-scale environments.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions while observing run conditions.
• Mechanical curiosity and problem-solving with equipment.
• Accurate batch data recording and PPE safety.

Responsibilities

• Run material, chemical, polymer, and pilot-scale production batches per records.
• Prepare raw materials, tools, and PPE before runs.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and clean processing equipment.
• Monitor process conditions and record deviations.
• Produce completed batches and samples for testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate needs.
• Maintain safety, labeling, and clean work areas.
• Ensure readiness for next run.
