Job summary

Jadex Inc. in Reedsville, PA, seeks a Senior Process Technician for our injection molding operations. Under minimal supervision, you will act as the technical expert across molding processes, optimizing production, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing leadership to technicians and setters.

You will partner with Quality, Tooling, Automation, Engineering, and Production to drive continuous improvement, safety, and productivity while maintaining QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years injection molding processing and troubleshooting experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with ability to train and mentor technicians.
• Systematic problem-solving using data analysis and logic.
• Knowledge of mold design, hot runners, and scientific molding principles.
• Knowledge of material behavior and rheology.
• Computer skills to use CIM effectively.
• Self-motivated to learn and perform tasks to meet customer and company expectations.
• Ability to work at an efficient rate to meet production goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex molding equipment issues, robotics, and electrical controls.
• Perform mold set-ups, start-ups, color changes, and process adjustments safely.
• Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, Automation, Engineering, and Production to resolve issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor Process Technicians and Mold Setters.
• Develop and improve processes using scientific molding principles and SPC.
• Support mold maintenance and tooling repairs.
• Maintain QMS compliance and safety standards.
• Identify equipment, quality, and safety concerns and report to leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
