Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. in Lehi, Utah, is seeking a Process Support Engineer (PSE) to guide products through their lifecycle with on-site installations, diagnostics, and service of complex systems.

You will work with customers and R&D to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips, perform data analysis, and conduct DOEs to validate improvements. Candidates should have 7+ years in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or related fields and a STEM bachelor’s degree;

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or similar high-tech industry.
• Preferred 5+ years’ experience in Applications or Process Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Serves as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions.
• Provides highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment; instructs customers in operation and maintenance.
