Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned EHS professional to lead the Process Safety Management program across facilities. You will ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 and EPA RMP, drive risk assessments, and oversee audits.

This role requires mentoring teams, coordinating MOC reviews, and developing ERPs for safety-critical operations. You will collaborate with engineering and production to uphold world-class PSM standards, conduct safety reviews, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering/Science or related field.
• 6+ years in a high-hazard industry with focus on PSM.
• Extensive knowledge of PSM regulations incl. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.
• Experience overseeing PSM/PHA/RMP audits and reporting.
• Knowledge of industry codes: ASME, NFPA, ANSI, IBC/IFC, API.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PSM program and ensure OSHA 1910.119 and RMP compliance.
• Manage day-to-day and long-term PSM activities across Blue Origin facilities.
• Lead MOC reviews and document changes per PSM requirements.
• Facilitate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews for new/modified processes and equipment.
• Oversee the MI program for PSM equipment including inspection/testing schedules.
• Perform process safety analyses (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, FTA).
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans for PSM processes.
