Job summary

You will lead MOCs, PHAs, SIL verifications, and safety audits, mentor engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure compliance and reliable plant operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum: 10+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Valid driver's license required for vehicle use where applicable.
• Understanding of advanced engineering principles and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform process safety engineering to support facility design and daily operations.
• Generate technical recommendations to improve flare and safety valve systems.
• Size new pressure relief devices and update flaring models.
• Lead design analysis to ensure proper relief in modifications.
• Accept reviews of design packages from internal/third-party firms.
• Coordinate projects and mentor staff in process safety.
• Lead MOCs, PHAs, LOPA, SIL verifications, and PSM audits.
• Provide guidance to engineers to improve team capabilities.
• Monitor corrective action items from investigations and audits.
