Audubon Companies, LLC is seeking a Process Safety Associate III to join our Metairie, LA team. The role focuses on providing consulting services in Process Safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) for oil, gas, petrochemical and refining projects.

The candidate will facilitate PHA meetings, analyze hazards, and advise clients on regulatory requirements while traveling to client sites and supporting business development within the Process Safety Group.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred.
• Chemical Engineering or Fire Protection & Safety Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineering Certification preferred.
• HAZOP/LOPA facilitator training required.
• 10+ years industry experience preferred, including leadership of at least 10 PHA studies.
• Experience with PHA Pro software strongly preferred; ABS Leader software a plus.
• Working knowledge of codes (API, etc.) and Process Safety Regulations preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including public speaking to groups up to 30.
• Ability to lead teams to make decisions or take actions to solve problems.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate/lead Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) meetings and produce high-quality documentation.
• Provide information and advice to clients regarding Process Safety regulations.
• Analyze engineering documents to identify hazards and mitigate them.
• Travel and work at client sites, including field inspections.
• Assist in business development and technical proposals for Process Safety Group.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide PSM/RMP compliance auditing.
• Provide safety engineering advice for risk assessments and related areas.
• Provide engineering design for Fire Protection Systems.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources.
• Additional duties as required.
