Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Process Safety Associate III to join our Houston, TX team. You will provide consulting in Process Safety Management for oil, gas, petrochemical and refining projects.

The role requires leading PHA/LOPA studies, advising clients on safety regulations, and performing field inspections. Ten-plus years of experience and a PE or equivalent certification are preferred. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Hazop/LOPA facilitator training certificate is required.
• 10+ years of industry experience with leadership of at least 10 PHA studies.
• Experience with PHA Pro software is strongly preferred; ABS Leader is a plus.
• Knowledge of API codes and Process Safety regulations is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including public speaking to groups of up to 30 professionals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead PHA meetings, including HAZOP/LOPA studies, and produce high-quality reports.
• Provide guidance on Process Safety regulations to clients and project teams.
• Analyze engineering documents to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Travel to clients' sites and perform field inspections as needed.
• Assist in business development and technical proposals for Process Safety group.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants as needed.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and company procedures; ensure compliance.
