Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Process Mechanical Estimator in the St. Louis area to develop accurate estimates for water and wastewater facilities and related industrial projects.

You will analyze drawings, specs, and requirements to produce detailed takeoffs for mechanical systems and equipment. Five or more years in estimating, experience with process mechanical scopes, and proficiency in estimating software and Excel are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering, construction management or related curriculum.
• Minimum 5 years estimating experience; 15 years in construction acceptable.
• Experience estimating process mechanical scopes for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate P&IDs, equipment schedules, piping layouts and sequencing.
• Develop budgets and competitive bid proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and identify impacts.
• Support value engineering to optimize cost and performance.
• Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
