Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Process Mechanical Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for water and wastewater facilities and industrial water projects. You’ll analyze drawings, specs, and requirements to produce detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems and equipment.

This role requires a BS in engineering or construction management and at least 5 years of estimating experience in construction.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related curriculum.
• Minimum 5 years estimating experience, or 15 years in construction.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate P&IDs, equipment schedules, piping layouts for estimates.
• Develop project budgets and bid proposals.
• Perform risk assessments and identify cost/schedule impacts.
• Support value-engineering to optimize cost and performance.
• Prepare complete bid packages with pricing summaries and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Review documents to produce takeoffs for mechanical systems.
