Job Scope: Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete designs for manufacturing facilities in the biopharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries. Responsible for coordinating and specifying both upstream and downstream process equipment as well as collaborating with all engineering disciplines. Responsible for supporting the procurement of process systems for technical reviews, equipment inspection and construction support.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or from an accredited university is required.
Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 3+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience in mechanical engineering.
