Job summary

Philips in Fremont, CA, is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead high‑complexity process development and industrialization efforts, bridging design and manufacturing and ensuring safe, compliant transitions from product development to production.

You will own BOM readiness, develop industrialization concepts, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and drive lean manufacturing practices, Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing/ Operations, Engineering, Industrial/Systems/Production/Cost Engineering or related fields.
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
• Strong capabilities in stakeholder and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑complexity process development and industrialization activities, integrating lean methodologies and design‑to‑manufacturing alignment.
• Develop Manufacturing BOMs and ensure master data readiness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success from product development to full manufacturing.
• Prioritize safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance in execution of processes.
