Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Process Improvement leader for a Distribution Center in Midway, TN. You will drive process improvement using tools like 5S, root-cause analysis, six sigma, and time-and-motion studies to eliminate losses and standardize work to reduce variation.

You will analyze KPIs, support the deployment of the Walmart Performance System, and lead savings projects while building capability among area managers and associates. This position emphasizes ethics, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Process or Value Stream Simulation.
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.

Responsibilities

• Leads Process Improvement tools and methods (e.g., 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center area.
• Delivers KPI analysis and loss elimination; creates standard work to reduce process variation; ensures alignment with Walmart Performance System (WPS).
• Leads savings projects; builds capability of area managers and associates; promotes WPS programs and input to improvement teams.
• Manages project execution of top losses and coordinates with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
