Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Process Improvement professional to drive operational excellence in a Distribution Center. You will own critical improvement initiatives, reduce losses, and standardize best‑in‑class practices using the Walmart Performance System (WPS).

Collaborate with area leaders to turn data into action and build long‑term capability across operations. You will lead end‑to‑end projects, analyze KPIs, and coach teams to sustain results through standard work and WPS methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required with 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of process or value stream simulation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts for the designated functional area using tools like 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to reduce losses.
• Analyze KPIs, drive loss elimination, and create standard work to minimize variation.
• Manage top‑loss projects, identify savings opportunities, remove waste, and support WPS integration via gap analysis and performance reviews.
• Apply new network playbooks and provide feedback to improvement teams on project ideas and replication opportunities.
• Support WPS programs, associate engagement, KPI improvement, and tactical deployment of WPS in the area.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities with stakeholders, monitor progress, and promote continuous learning.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through mentoring and recognition.
