Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Senior Process Engineering Manager to lead the technical and process engineering function at our Charleston, Illinois facility. You will drive manufacturing process optimization, automation, continuous improvement, capital projects, and technical team development.

You’ll work with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability while shaping the facility's long-term technical strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing process engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering or technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's Process Engineering, Technical, and Automation functions and develop a high-performing team.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Drive process capability improvements using PFMEA, process validation, risk assessments, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation such as Control Plans and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why).
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Finance to improve plant performance.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure robust manufacturing processes.
