Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to drive chemical process development, scale-up, and tech transfer from R&D to production. You will lead lab to pilot and production scale-ups with a focus on metal recovery, cost reduction, and environmental performance.

You will design and implement process modeling, SOPs, and production guidelines while mentoring junior staff and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reliability across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering required.
• 3–5 years of chemical process or development engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience scaling processes from R&D to operating environment.
• Expertise in process modeling, development, control, and scale-up.
• Coordinate bench-top to manufacturing scale-up with speed and robustness.
• Proficient in software for process analysis and modeling.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and scale-up of lab processes to pilot and production scales, focusing on metal recovery and cost/environmental impact.
• Identify process risks and evaluate mitigation strategies.
• Develop SOPs, process flow details, safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior scientists and engineers.
• Guide R&D and external partners in designing experiments for base data.
