Mariana Minerals is seeking a Process & Lab Technician to support safe, efficient process development and analytical tests. You will build, operate, and maintain ore leaching columns and perform chemical analyses of ore, process streams, and products. You will bridge leaching research with lab analytics for future scale-up.

The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D and engineering, meticulous data recording, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a dynamic minerals-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in minerals processing, metallurgy, chemicals, or related industrial settings.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, equipment manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic fabrication and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience operating analytical equipment in a lab or plant.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive ore handling including crushing, sampling, and sorting by particle size.
• Prepare samples for analysis using digestion, dilution, and filtration.
• Perform elemental/compositional analysis using ICP, NMR, XRF, or similar tools.
• Document analytical results and maintain records with digital systems.
• Follow strict environmental, health, and safety protocols.
