Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer to join our Manufacturing Team at a client site in Bessemer City, NC. You will lead process improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, capacity, and plant safety.

You'll collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, commercial, and R&D teams to ensure safe operations while solving complex process challenges and advancing operational excellence.

Qualifications

• requires a Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience
• PE license preferred and beneficial for the role

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process engineering solutions for safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing.
• Provide expert consultation to resolve production, process, and operational challenges.
• Lead process safety initiatives (MOC, PHA, incident investigations, root cause analyses).
• Analyze process and asset data to identify safety, reliability, yield, and efficiency improvements.
• Support capital projects, plant start-ups, and cross-team process improvements.
