Job summary

Hexion is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to provide senior technical guidance in resin production processes. You will review new recipes, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and support commissioning and startup of new operations.

Collaboration across Innovation, Commercial, Operations and Supply Chain is key. This role requires 5+ years in chemical processes, BS in Chemical or Process Engineering, and strong skills in safety, project management, and process optimization.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant chemical processes experience.
Familiar with process safety, environmental, and Industrial Hygiene rules.
Capable of working with 3rd party engineering firms.
Strong communication across business leads to site personnel.
Experience with front-end engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical advice for new chemical processes within project teams.
Review proposed processes and ensure safety, environmental and design criteria compliance.
Lead commissioning, startup, and relief system modelling activities.
