Job summary

Hexion, a global leader in thermoset resins and specialty chemicals, seeks motivated Chemical Operators for our Oregon production team. You will operate complex manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment, upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards to deliver materials meeting customer specifications.

As part of EH&S focused operations, you’ll perform both batch and continuous production tasks, complete SAP transactions for inventory, and support maintenance and process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and SOPs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 55 lbs and respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and control systems.
• Blend tanks, load/unload raw materials and finished products.
• Perform SAP transactions for inventory and production tracking.
• Follow SOPs to meet production goals and product specs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and assist in startup/shutdown procedures.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and process improvement.
