Job summary

Hexion seeks an Engineering Leader for its Fayetteville, NC site to direct safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity, and cost across Formaldehyde, Resin, Wax, and Hexamine processes. You will lead process optimization, manage capital projects, drive incident investigations, and mentor engineers while partnering with site leadership to improve reliability and process safety.

Strong hands-on leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a track record in capital project

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in plant engineering for chemical processes.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own optimization of the Formaldehyde, Resin, Wax, and Hexamine processes at the site.
• Lead capital project development from scope to startup; ensure safety and cost improvements.
• Coordinate OSHA Process Safety Management activities and incident investigations.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions.
• Develop operating budgets and support cost-reduction initiatives.
