Job summary

Bio-Techne in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Process Engineer – Reagent Manufacturing to strengthen technical capability in reagent preparation, liquid handling, and filtration. You will lead assessments, define equipment requirements, and drive improvements across manufacturing processes.

The role partners with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust, scalable operations, with a focus on bioburden control and process readiness for new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years process‑engineering experience in pharma/biopharmaceutical/biotech reagent manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process‑engineering support for prioritized technical gaps in manufacturing.
• Assess process capability by evaluating materials, equipment, scale, and process parameters.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve robustness, quality, and manufacturability.
• Serve as SME for reagent preparation, liquid handling, mixing, formulation, and filtration.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Facilities to implement improvements.
